What is the WTTP Protocol?
The WTTP protocol, short for Web Transfer Transport Protocol, is a new proposal for managing online communications, designed to optimize and secure interactions between clients and servers on the internet. Unlike HTTP and HTTPS protocols, which are now globally widespread, WTTP aims to revolutionize data transfer speed and reliability, addressing some of the most common limitations of the current network.
An Evolution of HTTP?
HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) has been the communication standard underlying the web for decades. Over time, however, issues related to security and large-scale performance have led to the development of HTTPS, a more secure version of HTTP. The WTTP protocol, however, is a completely new approach, designed to meet the needs of an increasingly interconnected and overloaded network.
